Summergrass is produced by two non-profit organizations, the San Diego Bluegrass Society (SDBS) and the San Diego North County Bluegrass and Folk Club (NCBFC), and is held on the grounds of the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum (AGSEM) which is also a non-profit organization. 

 

We welcome your tax deductable donation to any of these organizations or directly to Summergrass.  In addition to direct donations, Summergrass offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities--please contact Festival Chair Mike Tatar at festivalchair@summergrass.net, or Yvonne Tatar at ytatar@cox.net  and they will be happy to go over the options with you, or to craft something unique to meet your needs.

 

All funds raised by Summergrass are applied to the non-profit purposes of the San Diego Bluegrass Society, the San Diego North County Bluegrass and Folk Club, and of the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum.  We can't run the non-profit programs we do without support, and we sure do appreciate your help and support, in any amount, large or small!

Specific Sponsorship Opportunities: With any of these options, we provide complimentary festival tickets, plus sponsorship recognition in several ways:  in our program, on our web site, in announcements from our stage, in banners or other signage on display at the festival.  We invite you to sponsor a category in whole, in part, or to offer a contribution in any amount you can afford. You can choose to be listed as an individual, or if you prefer, your company name can be listed. You can choose to sponsor the festival in general or a program or activity that you are particularly interested in, including but not limited to the following:

·        Artists Lodging (motel rooms for our professional entertainers)...$4000+

·        Backstage Artists Tent (a quiet place for our entertainers to prepare for the show)... $625 (this sponsorship includes a photo opp and poster signing with your favorite band)

We have workshops throughout the festival. Some are instrument workshops led by performing artists  (e.g., guitar workshop; banjo workshop; vocal workshop, etc.), some structured jam workshops (EZ Jam workshops designed to teach people how to jam, "get acquainted jams") and more.

·        Audience Shade (exact cost of shade will vary, begins at $300) ... $300-$900
