Earn FREE ADMISSION to Summergrass
by volunteering!
Summergrass has a wonderful group of dedicated volunteers who have been with us for a long time, some since the festival
began 5 years ago! Every year we find that we can use a few more helpers, so if you would like to volunteer to work
at Summergrass, read the information below. If it sounds interesting, download the Volunteer Signup Form (link below)
and send it in. Join the fun & help out!
- Want to be part of an exciting bluegrass festival?
- Do you like great music?
- Would you like to do some volunteer work to earn free admission to the event?
- Want to have fun and contribute by helping three community non-profit organizations (SDBS, NCBFC, AGSEM) who are producing
the festival?
- Volunteers who work 4 hours earn 1 day free admission, work 8 hours and earn 2 days admission, or work 12+ hours and earn
3 days admission to festival (does not include camping).
- Summergrass needs volunteers who have an upbeat outlook (it's fun!) and enjoy interacting with our festivalgoers.
- Volunteers should also be able to maintain a "calm demeanor" as things can sometimes get a bit hectic. [If you tend
to get tense or irritable in changing situations come and enjoy the festival as a regular attendee rather than as a volunteer.

YOU ALREADY HAVE YOUR ADMISSION TICKETS PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO JERRY HASS, SUMMERGRASS CAMPING CHAIR AT CAMPING@SUMMERGRASS.NET AND HE WILL ASSIST YOU.
We'll have a Summergrass Volunteer Training Party in August which is mandatory for new volunteers. We encourage
ALL volunteers to attend training as new things crop up each year as we make changes and improvements. You'll meet other volunteers,
team leaders, and organizers and you'll be well prepared for the event after the training party... and we feed you at the training
party too!
Many of our volunteers have told us that although they work hard, they have a great time volunteering for the festival
and they had no idea what it took to actually "make a festival happen" until they were a volunteer at Summergrass. They
have a new appreciation of every event they attend, now that they know what it takes to produce one.

Information needed includes: name, address, phone number, email address, date(s) and number of hours you'll volunteer, what
